We have lived here for nearly two years and have no complaints about the management. Sheila has always been friendly and professional to us, perhaps the personal attacks have more to do with some peoples unrealistic expectations. Maintenace has always responded promptly when needed, I have also seen Ernie here after hours and on weekends, recently someone called building maintenance at 10PM when the power went out in practically the whole town, he came out, come on people what do you think they can do in this situation' Maybe these are the same people constantly complaining here, "maintanence doesnt do anything". My only complaint and the reason we will be leaving when our current lease is up is the utilities, this ISTA billing is garbage, there is a formulary billing system for gas, water, and sewer since aptartments are not meter for these. Now my heat bill for May was over $80, I know our heat wasn't on and I doubt if anyones else's was either so where does this huge gas bill during a warm month come from' Maybe all the gas dryers in the laundry room, I don't know maybe' perhaps' Dryers we already pay as much as a laundramat to use we are also paying the gas bill for how nice for them, and since we are paying the gas bill for the dryers want to bet on whether or not we are paying the water and sewer bills for the washers' Any takers' Seriously though, other then the utilities I think this place is great, and I don't even blame current management for the utility issue since they inherited ISTA from the previous owners, but I encourage them to get rid of them and raise the rent if necessary to include gas, water and sewer, because alot of people are leaving over getting these big gas bills when the heat isn't on in their apartments.

You are correct on the ISTA bill. I haven't used the heat since I moved in and have been paying for heat. What about the people who have washer and dryers in thier apartments? Are we paying for thier water and what not? Maybe we can ask them to look into other billing methods or another company to provide the service. I know I'm not much of a heat person and will not crank it up at anytime. I pay for my own electric and would like to pay for my own utilities. Who knows what changes we'll see as time goes by. They are working on trying to make improvements so, that's cool.

im glad you have had positive experiences. i did too, until sheila took over and was trying to change my lease before it was up for renewal... because i had a big dog, she tried to say that we had to get rid of him because she is not going to allow big dogs here anymore. after a small argument i just said we will be moving out, then all of a sudden.. because we were going to leave.. everything was fine and dont go,we will be allowed to stay.. but when it came to to renew we decided to go somewhere where our dog WAS allowed, we were too afraid that we would be threatened in the middle of our renewed lease to leave again and didnt wanna deal with it, so we told her we werent staying and boy then i saw the true side of sheila, and its not a pretty site. i went thru so much hell- and i did everything correctly- i just hope your exit goes better then mine!
