This place has a lot of problems. Security: Local Delivery persons known the entry codes. I ordered a pizza a while back and the delivery man knocked on my second floor door! When I asked him how he "got in the building" he replied "all of our drivers know the code here". Second problem: Roaches. No matter how much you clean (and mind you, we took bleach to our kitchen floors and had all of the carpets steamed) the roaches seem to enter your unit through the dish washers (which are not securely installed) and roam free throughout our kitchens at night...despite our attempts to keep the lights on -adding to our already high eleectric bill! Third, they are raising the price of rent from $804 to $869 per month. How' They haven't installed new wahing machines. The refrigerators are extremley small. The bathrooms are so small that privacy is an issue (imagine if a guest has a stomach virus -the entire living room will hear it). I am out of this crap hole as soon as my rent is up. Plus the worker in the front office (-------) is not very "personable".

Thank you for posting this. I have had a similar experience. The noise inside and outside of this complex has been a huge problem. This place is hurting for new tenants. The other day I found a flyer on my door (my neighbor's is still hanging there) informing us that if we "refer a friend" to move here we would get money off of our rent. Like I would ever do that to a friend? Also, isn't that almost like a pyramid scam?

I have lived here for over 5 years. it is not the best but certainly not the worst. There are a couple things that you have said that don't seem right. How can the delivery people know the codes? Someone in your building must have given them a code. All the buildings have different codes. You can complain to the office (and I do agree about ------- but my word for her is -----) and they can check to find out who is giving out the codes. I have lived in two different buildings and have never had a problem with roaches. And there have been some scuzzy tenants who luckily haven't lasted long. Also, new washers were put in 2006/2007 depending on your building. How often do you want new washers put in? The walls are paper thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbor snoring. Luckily, I can't hear my neighbors beside me who are contractors. I have also heard that they are getting rid of the illegal contractors here.
I keep hearing people complain about this place but no one says anything to the office or even to Morgan Properties corporate office. Everytime I have had a complaint, it has been handled. It may take some time depending on what it is, but I've never really had any issues here. Except with -------.

To Anonymous #3:
I watched on 3 occasions South American immigrants who were evicted from their apartments scatter with their belongings packed in black garbage bags and move into the A, D, F and J buildings. They ALL knew the codes to get into those buildings. Management WAS told about it and they did NOTHING!! Contrary to what you've heard about them getting rid of the illegal contractors, Main Street was getting paid by the contracting companies (Rios and MasTec) to house these migrant workers. The only time management has evicted illegal tenants from overcrowded apartments is when their hands were forced to do so by the police - and not because we, the legal tenants, have complained about it. And we have been complaining to Main Street management AND Morgan Properties corporate office about this problem for FOUR YEARS!!
