The owner/landlord is an evil, greedy, ignorant person. Many people in here are experiencing numerous problems, mostly the owner overcharging people for late fees. People are moving out in droves (I'll be next), but he doesn't care. It doesn't matter if you send your rent in a WEEK ahead of the 5 day grace period, you will be charged a late fee anyhow. The owner constantly sends harassing bills to tenants claiming that we owe thousands of $$ in late fees - EACH! My latest bill is over $1,500 in late fees that he thinks he's going to get. Many have received a notice to pay or quit. This guy is just trying to make people homeless with his bogus late-fee charges. We use to be able to slip rent under managers door on the premises. She was in charge of rents. Then the landlord (Dr. Mian - we're not allowed to know his first name) decided that he wanted rents sent to him - from Lansdowne, PA to Bridgewater, NJ. Why' Because he wanted to collect megabucks in late fees, when it only takes 3 days for mail to get from Lansdowne to Bridgewater, TOPS. I'm sure some people are late at times because of this, whereas they weren't before. But to the owner, we're ALL late all the time!

He charges $75.00 per month for an air-conditioning fee. WAY excessive. He'll even charge you if you don't have one in the window!!! Then he'll tack on a late fee if it isn't paid!

The rent gets raised every 6 months for some people. Some tenants have their rent raised $60, $70, $80 a month. You can't talk to the owner. They don't even listen to the manager when she tries to talk to him. When she tells him that some people won't be able to handle the high rent increase, he sys to her "then they shouldn't be there." And you're always wrong, he's always right. One elevator has been down for over a year. The halls are always filthy. The building is very old and falling apart. Maintenance men are good, but things don't get fixed inside the apartments for YEARS, if at all. There were many evacuations in 2001, 02 because of fires starting due to bad wiring, and a transformer that blew up in 2001.

Despite these problems, there are some plusses here (it's quiet, no roaches, nice neighborhood), and that's why I've stayed so long. But now I'm being forced out of my home.

The manager has told several tenants that the owner doesn't like Americans, and that he didn't care about 9/11/01 (He's from Pakistan). This man owns apartments in PA, NJ, and DE. ALWAYS ask who the owner is when renting. He is a millionaire off the backs of the working class, who thinks he's above the law. NEVER rent from this creep.

I moved in waylin manor in 2006 and it was a total waste of moey. There are leaks in every apartment. The lanlady's do not repsond to any complaints at all, and I was also informed by other tenants that they were also prejudice when it comes to blakc men. I experienced this almost every day the general manage rwould harrass my fiance fro no apparent reason. But when I was home she wouldn't knochk on my door or speak with me anout any occuring problems (if they ever existed which I don't believe). The water is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS off and whenever I would tell her (lanlady) about the leaks she would just say "put a bucket under the sink" what the hell type of business is that supposed to be for people who desire to live in your facilty? The only thing that seems to be a concern when it comes to the manager is rent and high ass late fees. DO NOT RENT FROM WAY LIN MANOR PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
