Please do not rent here. First you have the fact that they may or may not tell you about the additional fees they will be charging called ISTA. Get this they charge for water and sewer without you having a meter for your unit. So you pay the same as someone who has tons of kids. Then you have to give them 2 (TWO) months notice you wish to leave. I had discussed the fact that I hadnt so they were going to charge me close to $600.00 for that. Or I could go month to month and give them $300.00. I stated that I had given them a pet deposit and the dog died in less than 30 days of moving in. I thought they could use this. Nothing was sent to me saying that this wasnt the case nor did they send me an invoice giving me ample time to come up with the additional fees. I gave them my rental check as usual on the 1st. They in turn gave it back as it didn't include the $300.00 but the total they had was $40.00 more so I had no idea what this was. Kept asking and got the run around. So I gave my check back with a letter asking for an invoice to see how they got this fee. By the time we straightened all this out it was the 6th of the month and now if you can believe it they filed eviction notice on me even though I had given them notice that I was leaving the end of the month. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First - they DO tell you about ISTA for your water and sewage. It isn't metered, but it is averaged based on how many people live in the apartment and your square footage, so you aren't paying the same as someone with 5 kids. Second - read the damn lease. It CLEARLY states that you are required to give 60 days notice. I just hate to see people complain over stupid things. If you read any of the documents that were provided to you, then you wouldn't have had this issue. I don't think it is a bad place to live.

First, they have kept the ISTA fees from a lot of renters. I personally read the lease before and after leasing from them and it says nothing about ISTA, what the fees are, or how they are figured. I agree that they do require 60 days notice. Sucks but it is in the paperwork.
