Unreliable public transportation-bus runs two times in am and pm / No weekends
Parking-awful-If you get home after 5pm forget about parking at front entry. Parking in rear has terrible lighting with debris on lot.
Maintenance-Be prepared to wait a few weeks to a few months.
Condition of individual apartments- need lots of work most of the fixtures are from the sixties including the lighting, cabinets, floors.
The hall ways are normally littered, carpeting is very dirty and lighting is erratic, with ceiling towels either hanging down or completely missing.
There are much nicer places to live in the area with rent being about the same.
Laundry rooms inadequate for number of people in building and they don't work properly most of the time.
Think hard before moving here.

I have lived here since 2005 and this is not a "Section 8" property. Where do you people get your information? You need to look around at your neighbors, then go to a Section 8 property. Someone listens to too much gossip or has too much time on his/her hands. If you are that unhappy, why do you still live here??? Great place to live.

I totally agree but would like to add a few things. This place was awful from the first day we moved in. We arrived at 10am with a moving truck to find the apartment was not ready. No kitchen was installed and management did not feel they needed to call and inform us. Anytime we needed something it took at least 3 phone calls with messages to get a return call or finally have the manager answer and the would receive an attitude from her. End of lease inspection was done without us oresent and then we received a bill for over $200 in damages with no itemized list(which is required by law). Called about this and 2 months later never got a call back. Then I get a check for $99 that Im assuming we were over charged and then it was returned due ti insufficient funds in their bank account. This place is run so poorly and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
