The community of Malvern, and the complex itself, is a really nice place to live. However, the apartments are older and you can tell. The windows are terribly drafty and there seems to be nothing that separates adjacent units (to the back) except some drywall. (Oh the things we have heard...) On a good note, the walls seem quite soundproof between the adjacent units to the sides.
If the management and maintenance took some pride in their work, this place would be great. As it is, you need to repeatedly follow-up on maintenance requests and when a repair is made, don't expect it to be done as well as you would have done it.
All in all, if you need a place to live near a SEPTA station (within walking distance) and aren't expecting too much, you will probably enjoy your time at Charleston Greene.

(Snow removal and icy sidewalks are a problem.)
