Due to the incompetence of the William Henry staff they have (yet again) screwed up a payment I made. Most slum lords are at least good at collecting money, William Henry isn't even good at that. You are a complete fool if you rent from them having read these posts. Run, Run, Run. There are FAR better apartments in the area that are offered for equitable prices.

I agree 100% with you. Lydia has not lifted a finger to do much of anything. I don't understand why they don't invest some money in putting up fire ladders off of all the balconies....???? I can't sleep at night living in fear of a fire since the last one. I live on the 3rd floor. Now what IF there was a fire, lets say, in the ONLY evacuation place, the hallway??? What the hell am I suppose to do?? JUMP off the balcony? These people are nuts. The last fire was due to faulty wiring?? My lights flicker, I can't run the microwave and oven at the same time, or everything goes out, and I can't iron and have other things plugged in. Is that a sign for a future fire, or what!?

Honestly I would get out as soon as possible my significant other was a volunteer fireman and the things you described could definitely lead to an electrical fire which can spread very quickly I might add. Contacting your local firehouse or fire marshal to come inspect the wiring would either alleviate your worries or confirm your worst fears but at least you would have documented proof that W.H. is a negligent landlord. Then Lydia will have to do something. There are ways to break your lease without being fined if you can prove the landlord has neglected their end on the contract. Not that the home properties upper management is that helpful but they would def. be a place to start as far as logging a formal complaint. I honestly wish you the best of luck.
