Management Changed to Home Properties, getting better

When Home Properties took over in the last year they first changed the name to HOME PROPERTIES ( and no one could find it) THEN they changed it back. They got a lot of negative feedback and have adjusted gradually. In general that is the situation. Home Properties has gradually improved the site and services from a rocky transition. The site is clean, landscaped, secure (locked outside doors with buzz-in), they allow pets in some buildings, they built a clubhouse with weights and treadmill and swimming pool. The staff is polite. Repairs are quick. Outside contractors are not well controlled and may be late, early or off schedule--and expect work to take longer than expected. It is next to Immaculata College and basically quiet. Kids can get a school bus which stops in the complex. The buildings are older, though redone cosmetically in the last year. Check carefully for storage for your apt. If you can afford it, you will find it generally quiet, friendly with a Septa bus stop out front. Malvern is about 1.5 miles away with trainstop on the R5. Past ownership became almost anti-tenant. PS - they do use lawn services for green-lawn look, if you are allergic to lawn chemicals heads up.
