Okay place to live***

I have lived here for 2.5yrs. While GTC is not the absolute best place to live it is also not the worst. I have seen much worst even in this part of town.
*One main concern is being a gateless community. I think the place should be gated and with all the children here we should have speed bumps installed.
*The pool is another downfall. The pool is very small and lackluster. The size is way to small for the amount of residents living here. This pool is also used by the townhomes lining Bent Creek Blvd and by the "new" not yet built "Bent Creek Apts". This is absurd to think this tiny pool will suffice.
*The GTC television channel (21).. The previous report is correct in that there are ALWAYS mispelled words on there. YES, the office is responsible for typing in the info because the actual unit is right in the property managers office. So, that is not true that it is handled by an outside source.
** The snow plowing is horrendous. Looking out your front window you are lead to believe we must have had at least a foot of snow. Once you drive out of the community to the actual street you realize that the amount of snow was actually minimal. It appeared as if it was more because of the bang up job the snow plowers do. So what if it is $10,000 everytime they come. The money is coming from the tenants rent combined, not from the staff?s pocket.
** The dog poo is a whole different story- Very few tenants pick up after their pooches and the few that do are in jeopardy of having to live without their pooch. This is because the staff hasn?t been able to find the owners that do not pick up waste. They are therefore thinking of punishing ALL dog owners by removing pets from the coomunity. This makes no sense whatsoever.
**According to the lease aggreement, vicious dogs are no longer allowed, BUT I have seen pitbulls, rottweilers, german shepards, and boxers recently on property. I find it hard to believe that the staff is unaware of these dogs being on property.
** I would say look around before you sign on the dotted line. Check out the property a couple of times and stop to ask several residents for their opinion.
