I recently moved out of the Brambles due to purchasing a home. I had previously lived there for 3 years. It was a wonderful community to live in, at first. In the summer of 2008, the management changed over, and it went from good to bad. No longer was the landscaping taken care of (we didn't even receive new mulch in the Spring of '09). I had called for some maintenance issues and they were either not looked upon (leaking toilet), or I was told they would be checked immediately and waited for 3 hours for them to actually be checked (broken air conditioner). The flooring in the bathroom was pulling back from the tub (of which I am sure I was charged), and during the winter, you are left to your own devices to dig your car out (the plow - if they showed up - would actually plow you in). People residing in the same row parked 8 vehicles in the shared lot - many of which were not under inspection. Instead of addressing those individuals, the row would constantly get letters from the management about the parking procedures. When moving, my inspection date was scheduled during working hours, so of course I couldn't attend the inspection - therefore will probably not be able to refute any charges against me. I received a letter of charges that I owe, and on the letter they didn't address it to the correct person, have my correct security deposit listed, and didn't have my pet deposit listed at all - complete disorganization. For what is available to you in these apartments, plus the disorganized management, it is not worth your rent money. I'm sure rent has risen substantially to pay for the new addition that was built onto the offices. There are no other amenities available to you other than what your apartment houses. What once was a nice community to live in has become a disappointment.

I too lived at the Brambles. Always had my maintenance issues followed up on in a timely matter and if my neighbors had been adult enough to realize that snow fall is a problem for everyone. the fact that they plow as soon as they can, they do the parking spots too, and that the maintenance staff sctually shovels all walk ways is a boon to this community. I found the problem was mostly with the people who lived around me, not the staff of the brambles.
