I have rented in different places before but this place just tops it in terms of it's rude staff, poor quality apartments among other things.

At first I seemed to like the place because of it's easy access to things around this area. But very soon I got irritated by the fact that my electricity bill was almost above $130 every month. I have even paid $240 once during winter time because of their very old central heating/cooling equipment & thin poorly insulated walls. The walls are so thin that you feel that your neighbors are sitting right there in your living room. The manager is very rude and difficult to deal with. Everything may seem goody goody while moving in but god forbid if you have to leave. They will make sure you are made to realise your mistake by wanting to leave!!

Every tenant has to compulsorily pay $45 for getting the carpet cleaned professionally or produce a bill from a professional carpet cleaner who should have cleaned it just a day before you hand your keys to the manager! Why is this never mentioned up front while signing the lease' No wonder they change their carpets every 7 years!

We once had extremely troublesome neighbors downstairs. They were 2 young girls who would have more than 10 people almost everynight. They would have cops called in the middle of the night so frequently because of the noise the whole group created both within the apartment and outside in the parking lots. The girls would be sleeping all day with no income and have all guys over at night! It turned out that they were doing drugs and prostitution in the apartment. My wife an asthma patient would frequently run out of breath in the middle of the night from all the smoke & loud thumping noises down below. You would expect that your AC/Heat ducts were isolated from the ones staying down below. We had to put up with this for almost a year! You would expect that the management would have had the brains to figure this out and rectify this earlier.

Don't be fooled by the relatively small rent value as compared to other apartments. No utilities are inculded. No heat, No hot water, No nothing. You are better of paying a higher rent elsewhere with some utilities paid for, thicker well insulated walls, good neighbors, polite staff.

My advice to you is to stay away from this place. You can get more and better for your money elsewhere and don't have to put up with rude bitchy people.

I don't understand where this person is coming from. We had problem neighbors for a while and within a few months they were gone. The management is VERY nice if you are a decent tenent. The utlities not being included is a lie. They pay for water, sewer and trash. Trash recepticles are huge and sit only a few steps outside your door. If management didn't appreciate the concern of the above, I'm sure they had a few problems with them also. We have not had any problems, and we are going to be very upset to leave. It is incredibly quiet in here, other than children playing. I have never felt safer at night and I love our neighbors. It's a beautiful area and I couldn't really ask for more other than a little more space for the money. I highly recommend Delbrook for a couple or a small new family if you can afford a 2 bedroom. If you pay your rent on time, cause no problems, and take care of your place, there's NOTHING wrong with it here. I cannot understand why this place only has a 57% rating. We've been here 2 years and do not want to leave.
