Not a bad place

I lived here for about two years, left to buy a house. Place was nice, good quiet location, very safe. Parking was always available (there are assigned spots in the front of each unit, and then overflow parking that also had another spot free for you) I was always notified atleast 2 weeks ahead of time when there would be somethig going on with the parking lot, or when the maintenance men would need to do something like check the heating or something. They were also prompt is repairing stuff for me. I once had a prob with my dryer not working properly and they promptly got on it and fixed it for me. Jan (current PM when I was there) was always friendly and helpful.
Cons: Get an upstairs unit if possible. The people above me would be stomping around (the female that lived there must of had size 12 feet from the noise she made!) which drove me nuts sometimes, once they moved out, it was great. Unit wasn't the biggest, and a little more than what you pay in the city, but it's alot safer and there are nice parks nearby and it's a nice area if you like the suburbs. In summer I did get some little ants in the kitchen area, no biggie, just make sure you keep the sink clean and you shouldn't have any probs. I sprayed some ant killer stuff once and that pretty much took care of them.
Overall I liked the place, but it was two small for me to stay in forever (single dad with kid on weekends)
Also, they were very cool about returning my deposit. I didn't have time to schedule the carpet cleaning (when you move out you have to clean the place, and have the carpets professionally cleaned. My place was completely fresh painted and brand new carpets when I moved in, so I didn't mind. And my kid did spill stuff several times on the carpet, so they needed cleaning) Jan just scheduled the cleaning and sent me the what was left, instead of just pocketing all of it.
