This apartment complex is a great place to live if you are looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and full of charm. The covered parking is a great asset-- I never had to scrape my windows at all last winter. The apartments are within easy walking distance to downtown Mechanicsburg for restaurants, bars, shops, etc. as well as to CVS just up the road. There is a nice mix of older residents, young families, and young adults. The units vary in floorplan quite a bit so be sure to ask to see all that are available. I moved out only because I wanted to buy a larger place-- otherwise, I would have happily lived in the School House Apartments for a long, long time. One thing to be aware of is that they seem to be gradually moving to condos.

All in all, highly recommended!
