I am beginning my 3rd year at Rose Tree Crossing and am regreting signing the lease renewal. This is the most incompetent staff I've known. They do not respond to maintenance requests unless you repeatedly go to them. They will not return phone calls. I even heard one talking badly about me behind my back. Maintenance does not fix things properly. I had to have them fix a ceiling leak 2 times and a bathtub flooding twice. One time my light switched was fixed and I never even put in a request (they got the wrong apartment). Each year you have to sign a yearly lease (and STIFF penalties if you break the lease). It never goes month to month. I think I pay a high price for what I get, especially considering I've been here for over 2 years and the people who live below me who just moved in pay significantly less for the same apartment. You will be much better off renting from a private landlord. Yes, some of my friends in their apartments also have had huge bug problems, although I have not. Outdated fixtures, cabinets, etc. I also constantly have smoke coming into my apartment from below.
