Beware, the management is very poor, unhelpful and unfriendly.

We requested a basic 2 bedroom with no stairs due to a piano, They responded that the only available unit was on the first floor and an upgrade. After moving in, it became obvious that more than half the units were not occupied, but to keep up appearances they cram everyone into the main street. I feel bad for the elderly couple with hip surgery that they put down the street from us since there are at least 6 steep stairs to her first floor apartment, just like ours.

We also had poor water pressure, tons of noise, phone jack that I had to rewire myself to get to work (read the contract carefully) and still had integrity problems (loud static), leaky ceiling (very upsetting since there was an apartment upstairs), and be prepared to pay to both heat and cool the place since there is virtually no insulation. I heat a home now that is twice the size for half the cost.

These apartments are very poor build quality. They may look alright, but you'll know what I mean after it is too late. All of the maintenance people at one point quit. I can imagine it is very frustrating to have to maintain this place and deal with such an awful person as the manager for a boss.
