The apartments are nice and roomy but very poorly made. They used the absolute cheapest material they could find. The insulation is almost non-existant and the drafts make for a huge heating/cooloing bill.

Most of the residents are military, borderline criminal, or transient. We thought the price of the apartments would help weed out the undesireables but as it turns out military personell get subsidized and others live with several families who share costs. This is not a place for the upper class despite the cost. Unruly, unsupervised, undiciplined, and uneducated children make for an even worse living situation. Management runs the place like the tennants are all twelve year old children but I can actually understand why. Management is cold and unfeeling and does nothing to aid in policing the area.
Do not spend the money!!! This is not what it appears to be.

I am a resident here at the Village of Amesbury, military actually and I do not agree with several things you have listed. Before you post something for everyone to read, you should get your facts straight. First of all we, the military pay the same amount of rent as everyone else, including all utilities. Second, it seems as if you may have a problem with rental communities in general. When you rent a place you have a very diverse group of individuals. Some may have children, some may not. It seems as though you would be better suited for a house in the middle of no where. I personally have had nothing but the best experience here at Amesbury. The office staff has been professional and courteous to myself and family since day one. Maintenance has been wonderful!! Whenever we need anything, it is done immediately. I would and have recommended this community to several people. But don't take my word for it, see for yourself.
