I am a resident of this community, and I would not reccommend this place to anyone. The so called rules that are in the lease are not for everyone to be followed. It depends on who you are or if the management likes you. When trying to discuss with the management about the unfair practice, she will lie, yell at you, and better yet, hang up the phone on you. Management will be nice to you as long as you do not have a complaint. You are charged for services that you do not recieve, you are charged for lawn care that looks like a 5 yr old did it. Make sure before you move in that the promises that were made to you by management are upheld, because if you question her on it while your moving in, then again you will get the rudeness that she is so good at. Make sure that if you do need anything from the office especially on Friday's that you get there way before closing time. The last 3 fridays I have walked down to the office before scheduled closing time and management was already gone for the day. Why have hours posted if your not going to abide by them'

My thoughts on this review? I am a resident of Amesbury and have found the management to be nothing BUT friendly, helpful, and professional at ALL times. I moved from a high end and expensive rental in the Holiday Park area of Monroeville. Compared to what I "endured" there I can only praise The Village of Amesbury. I have found the office staff ALWAYS available when I need something taken care of. The office manager was extremely through when I toured the peoperty and signed the lease concerning the rules and regulations of the property. The maintence staff is on the spot whenever I have needed repairs. The grounds are well maintained in so far as the grass is always cut, beds are mulched and trash is picked up on a regular basis. Yes there are problem tennants who think they are above the rules of the community but management ALWAYS handles the problem in a timely and professional manner. If this person has such issues with the property then maybe he should take a hard look at what kind of tennat he has been.

Have lived here over two years and yes, management does have its favortism, I personally do not have an issue with management but after living here as long as I have, I have seen alot and when management turns on you or if you as a tenant have a dissagreement watch out! Thats when the rude and crudeness begins. Also from experience, since you pay 95% of your utilities to management KEEP ALL OF YOUR RECIEPTS!! Because they do make mistakes and will try and make you pay extra but all you need to do is show your reciepts and documentation and you'll be fine. Utilities are billed by their ever changing accounting department and fees are automatically generated by the system which are not removed unless you catch them and the only way to catch them is to ask for a ledger (you have to ask for it) because then you will see the extra fees. All in all stay to yourself, pay EVERYTHING on time and you will be fine. Oh gas bills are enormous in the winter!
