I am finally OUT of The Landings! Thank goodness! They have been advertising amenities from day one. More than a year later and the fitness room finally opened. A walking path just went in as well (July 2006). No playground for the numerous kids. No pool, no tennis, no basketball. Outside water spickets worked in '05 but has not worked at all in 2006. Owner's say it never worked. I wonder how all of the inflatable pools the families put out in '05 got filled!

Construction at all hours. Snowblowing occurs at all hours. No notice for road paving, 4am trash pick ups, etc. Grass is cut regularly regardless of length or "brown-ness." Equipment parked in front of occupied units over the weekend that limits parking.

New units leak, have A/C problems, and poor a/c heat circulation. Unit get HOT in Summer and COLD in winter.

Lease is VERY landlord friendly. Two FULL rental months notice to vacate.

The Landings is a beautiful property with a phenomenal fitness center and swimming pool. The amenities did not happen as scheduled, but residents received huge rent concessions because of this. The Landings also purchased swimming pool passes for residents for the 2006 season at the local community swimming pool. Outside water faucets are for landscaping purposes and not for use by residents. The lease agreement specifically states this. Water is paid by the The Landings. In 2005 there were 20 completed towhomes. There will be a total of 260 units when construction is complete. Construction noise is expected when choosing to live on a property that is in the early stages of being built. I find it very economical to cool as well as heat my home at The Landings. It's simply a matter of opening and closing vents when seasons change. I love the fact that I no longer have to shovel snow and remove ice in the winter, and mow grass in the hot, humid summer. It's a great feeling to know that The Landings is taking care of this for me. I am always able to drive out of the property at normal time regardless of the weather. I love living at The Landings and plan to stay here for a long time!!
