Anything but "luxury" suites...

After living here for half a year, I am extremely disappointed in the service they have provided us. When we moved in they had a maintenance crew that was on the ball, but in Fall of 2007 their head maintenance left and since then have sunk to very poor maintenance service (don't expect them to come by for a few days after a request).

One night I smelled a foul gas odor coming from our oven, called the emergency hotline in case of a gas leak, and after I was told on the phone Waterford Nevillewood maintenance would be at our door in an hour, no one came at all that night, even after I recalled the emergency line. When I complained to the apartment manager the next day, the only answer we could get is we would receive a new oven and they would look at it sometime that week, which was 2 days later. Lucky for us we didn't suffocate. Our oven was broken for just over 3 weeks before receiving one that worked. Not exaggerating.

We also had a rude neighbor living below us, blasting his music (it felt like a college dorm) and leaving rude, elementary-grammar notes on our door rather than speaking to us face-to-face. This obviously depends on the apartment, but didn't make our experience at Waterford any more enjoyable.

Also, watch out when you move out because they will bill you for everything they've got. They claim to bill you for new items such as blinds and gate cards whether or not you "broke" them when leaving. I hate leaving poor comments like this but I need to let prospective tenants know that this may not be the apartment complex you are looking for.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND LOOKING AT OTHER APARTMENT COMPLEXES. You can't say you weren't warned.

I also got charged for just about everything when moving out. Don't leave any small nail holes and make sure you remember to run the oven cleaner. I forgot to run the oven cleaner (although it wasn't left in any kind of bad state) and I got charged a ton of money for just forgetting to run the cleaning cycle. I thought small nail holes fell under normal wear and tear since we were allowed to have them, but apparently, I was wrong.

Dear Zaremba--I mean Anonymous: I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Zaremba stonewalled them. Seemingly, the local AG is neutered and/or privately funded. The AG did nothing. Zaremba acted superior in a typically inferior way. Don't tell us they'll "work with us". WE WANT OUR STOLEN DEPOSITS. And, P.S., THERE ARE NO TENANT PROTECTION LAWS HERE (OR THE AG LIED ABOUT IT).

Make sure you take pictures when you move out. Don't let them charge you for things they are not legally allowed to charge you for. For example, small pin/nail holes **Contact the Zaremba Group, they own this property. They are based out of Cleveland, OH. Please email and call them with any problems you have or have had in the past. Being a large company I am sure they will work with residents to fix the management issues.
