Not bad

This apartment complex overall is a great deal. The landlord is wonderful and maintenance is great! Anytime there's been a problem it was fixed in a timely fashion and the work is very good quality. Financially it's a pretty good deal, compared to other complexes in the area. And they allow cats AND dogs here. It's convenient to everywhere and is on a residential street, so most of the time, it feels safe. Many residents have been here for several years.
As for the downside, it's sometimes like living in a dorm for 20 and 30 year olds. The carpets in the halls and on the stairs are pretty gross so just wear shoes. There have been roaches but with some traps, it's very under control. I can count on two hands how many I've seen in three years. And the other residents, well, some smoke pot which gets bad enough that I could get a contact high in my own apartment, especially in the summer with the windows open. Some apartments can be loud sometimes (i.e. slamming doors, etc.) but it's not a constant thing.
So if you can deal with all that (which isn't bad really at all) then this is a good place to be.
