Place is a dump... Too expensive without providing any services. Apartments are drafty and have poor ventilation. The Bathrooms are in need of repair and maintenance is spotty at best. Noise in the hallways is similar to the experience of living in a hotel, considering that the buildings are designed like a hotel makes the noise like living in a one. Garbage is placed in a utility room and if person(s) on the floor do not place it within the shoot then the smell is horrible so get a unit that is away from the utility room. Get a unit away from the elevators or you will be listening to the bells of the elevator 24 X 7 while in your unit. All in all if you like living in squalor and noise then Dekalb is the place for you!
