I have lived in Dekalb for a couple of years. The management is very nice and if you have a problem they are always on top of it. The rent seems to be going up at a rapid rate but nothing is being done to renovate the apartments (and thus justify a higher rent). The bathrooms and kitchens are very outdated and tiny. They charge a higher rent for each floor that you go up. To see the lovely Norristown view' Hmmmmm. I don't even know how to say this in a nice way, but there is an "ethnic" food smell almost daily in the hallways which is suffocating at times. Yes, it stinks to pay for laundry but the manager pays too! The only way you can get a coin operated machine for free would be to steal quarters out of the holder and she doesn't do that. As far as having problems when leaving...that's what you get for breaking your lease. What did you expect Mister' A lease is a lease.
