Hell hole in Norristown

This complex has gotten so bad, Korman dumped it on another company recently (May 04) so as not to stain their name. I wouldn't expect much improvement though.

After paying the first month's full rent, I realized that I was overcharged. I got a studio because it's big, but they charged $759 after telling me it's $734. I was too dumb, and didn't notice the lease said $739. I told the office about it, and they said they'll credit it on next month's bill. This went on for a few months so I just kept disputing with my credit card company. Lucky it was on cc then. Now they've stopped accepting credit cards.

I was told at signing that there's free continental breakfast. There wasn't. I was told cable's free, then they asked for an extra $9/month two months after I moved in. I argued and they said they'll waive it since I'm new, but next year I'll have to pay for any increases that are instituted.

There's a huge pest problem, and now most of my stuff's got roaches, and there are other bugs around. Unless you're a cleaning freak you'll find yourself in a hell-hole that you wouldn't dare invite your friends to.

Repairs take a few calls to do, and there was actually a time I had to pump the toilet after every use because they said the pipes are old and I should be more careful.

My apartment's always too hot, at least 15 degrees above outside temperature, so expect a high electric bill. The buildings are really getting on with age, doors are propped open, and smell is permanent in some places. Like everyone else says, the building with the leasing office is too good to be true. They wouldn't show me the actual apartment, and even after I signed a lease I had to borrow the keys and walk there myself to take a look.

I had a package that arrived on 6/12. It took 3 weeks to get it because the staff wouldn't put it in my apartment like they said they would - if they find it. I finally had to get it myself.

As we speak I'm trying to break a lease that was renewed without my acceptance.

There are probably other things I've forgotten. Stay away at all costs.
