Not understanding the crack den this area is, we moved to the Marshall Wood apartments. It wasn't soon after we moved in that we realized the terrible mistake we had made.
The problems with this complex are so vast that I am not sure where to begin. Maintenance is an absolute joke. Not only do they not complete requests in a timely manner, but their work is laughable. When you seal a gap around the outside an air conditioner with silver duct tape, that is ridiculous!!! I could have done the project myself and it wouldn't have taken 3 weeks.
Lets also talk about the fact that they do no background check on the people that move in. They took our security deposit, no questions asked the first day we went there! The parking lot is filled during the day because no one has jobs!!! The tenants (with few exceptions) are disgusting slobs that dabble in the drug trade to buy their plastic rims and forties. And lets not forget about the individuals that sell CD's and DVD's in your lawn, for they are true entrepreneurs!
And if you dare go to the cops about the severe noise problems that you experience, then you most definitely will come out to find that your new car has been keyed. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the office staff will care about it either, it is "your problem".
If you choose this place, you will live in a shoe box sized apartment with disgusting people surrounding you. Not only that, you will feel unsafe just about every time you walk out your door. And if you manage to remain safe going through the halls, then most likely you will be overcome by the revolting stenches that fill the hallways at any given time. I truly think that people have dead bodies stashed somewhere.
Honestly, I wouldn't wish this place on my very worst enemy. Only if you truly hate yourself and have zero hope for the future should you move to this place!
