As a former property manager, I must say I have empathy for the management at Marshall Wood...and each of my few complaints have been dealt with in a highly professional, cooperative and friendly manner.

Yes, the property has its problems but for the most part, except for the negligence of some tenants who take no pride in their surroundings nor have any consideration for the privacy of their neighbors, I've found that the grounds are well kept and interior maintenance issues are dealt with almost immediately.

As for the caliber of a large number of residents (over which Management has no control, thanks to Federal Fair Housing laws) I must say I am never seen outside my building after dark. I HATE the loud thumping of music coming from other apartments and occasionally from the parking lot, and I can't tell you how many times I've threatened to call the police because my apartment occasionally fills up with the smell of marijuana (I'm not a 'user' but I raised 5 sons in the 80's and 90's...enough said).

My biggest complaint has been the lack of heat post April 15 when temps were much below average for this time of year and the children who are allowed to run up and down the hallways...once they numbered about a dozen at the same time.

Management cannot be expected to monitor and control errant tenant behavior although DEPENDABLE 24 hour security would be an asset at Marshall Wood.
