I have lived at this complex with my mother who is now 62 for 4 years now. Every single year the hot water heater breaks and the entire complex is without heat. And this happens about 3-4 times each year during the winter. Today, we are going on the 4th day without heat and hot water! There are pregnant women and retired people that live in our complex and haveto deal with this. My mother works only part time and is home most of the day, sitting in an apartment that is as cold as it is outside. The complex also allows pets, and there is no heat for them as well. I am trying to find out who i can take a complaint to because this is just ridiculous! We call the maintenance person and get the same response every time, "We're working on it." It's friday morning and I'm not even looking forward to my weekend because I won't even be able to be comfortable in my own home. I would never ever recommend this complex to anyone that is looking for an apartment! I've actually steered people away from it. I would move myself, but my mother is 62 with alot of health problems, works part time, and is on a fixed schedule money-wise. We just don't have the means to move right now. But we are paying for an apartment that we are not getting any heat in. The worst part is that I could complain about so many other things that are wrong with the complex, but right now since it is only about 45 degrees today, I'm honestly more concerned about the heating situation.
