My family and I moved here in the beginning of March of 07. Lilly was a huge help in getting us approved quickly and very flexible about our need to move in quickly since our prior residence had been sold. The office staff has been very pleasant and easy to deal with. When we came to sign the lease, before we signed we were allowed to inspect the apartment and ask for any changes which were done before we moved in. They installed brand new appliances, new carpet and new blinds in each room and the bathroom was freshly caulked. The maintenance staff has been on the ball and personable.

The price here is great. For less than 900 a month, we get a 2br, heat, hot water, standard cable w/ HBO and the electric bill is low if you aren't running your a/c. We haven't had to run it yet, so I'm not sure how that will effect it. I have also been informed by my neighbors that since the new owners took over last year, many prior issues have gotten much better. There is a pool which I hear is nice once it's up and running (its not yet the middle of May) and a Fitness center which we are told will be opening again soon.

As far as safety, as a woman and a mother of a small child, I feel relatively safe here knowing that on site staff is keeping a watchful eye out. Our neighbors are friendly and diverse. It's mostly a working class community and I have yet to cross paths with a neighbor yet who didn't at least say hi or greet my child with a smile.

We have had to make 2 maintenance calls so far. One was for lack of hot water which was fixed by the next morning. The other was for missing screens. Karen at the office told us it may be a few days for the screens since they fit them on site and may need to be made but they were here the very next afternoon- much quicker than expected. As far as critters, all apartment complexes have pests of some sort. Yes we have seen a critter or two of the insect sort, but not to nearly the degree as some other places I've lived. When I told Lilly, she had an exterminator here within days and it hasn't been an issue since.

This place isn't perfect and we have had minor issues with outside noise and the condition of the hallways but we don't live in the hallway and we can't control the folks outside. The inside of our apartment is spacious, bright and airy and the walls are thick enough that we don't hear much at all from our surrounding neighbors save some footsteps from upstairs. The one snowfall we were here for, the staff was on point about getting the parking lot plowed quickly. The grounds are pleasant to look at for the most part and there are pleasant little nitches with benches to sit.

All in all we are pretty happy here.
