On the good side - there was a roof over my head when it rained.

On the bad side...... Old building with much going wrong. i) I had an upsatairs neighbor's bathroom leaking down into my apartment. Water flowed down the walls and soaked the carpet over some weeks, ruining some stored pictures in the bedroom closet. ii) the living room cable outlet would not work. Comcast said it was a problem inside the building (line chewed through or something). Mice heard scurrying around in the ceiling space and saw mouse in apartment once. iii) Security was a joke. Front doors frequently left propped open by people carying items in/out. iv) Car towed if not displaying official parking permit sticker. v) lawn maintenace company broke patio glass door when weedwacker threw up a stone. vi) laundry rooms continually abused and frequently out of commission

And the biggest issue I have!!!!!

My girlfriend and I spent hours cleaning and shampooing carpets when I vacated in March '07. It is now August and I have not gotten my deposit back!! I'm gonna sue the bastards and take them to small claims!
