My boyfriend and I rented at Regatta for 2 years (during which we travelled 75% of the time). During the first year, we lived on a 2nd floor apartment, so it seemed fairly quiet (except in the master bedroom we could hear the bordering neighbors). The manager seems to be a miserable b*tch (Tracey, may have been her name- she never was nice to us when we saw her around- and she has extremely thick ankles). Nevertheless, once the year was up we decided to save money by renting a first floor unit- HUGE mistake. For the entire year we could hear EVERY single movement within the building. To make matters worse- everything in the apartment seemed to start falling apart! The towel racks and toilet paper holders kept falling on their own and each time I called maintenance would not show for a good three days. And FORGET IT if you ever call on a Thursday or Friday about maintenance, they will not even release your work order to the crew until Monday. But my boyfriend and I travel the majority of the month so we figured we would try to make the best of it. BUT THE WORST INSULT OF ALL IS THAT when we decided to leave, the fake courtesy that was displayed by other staff started to wain. Before we vacated we asked mainentance to come over and do a preliminary inspection of the apartment so we could get our deposit back. THey came and just asked us to see if we could get stains out of the carpet (although they were there when we first moved in, and I was later told that the carpet was FOUR years old and they don't change them until they are SIX years old). A few weeks later I got a statement that we were only receiving less than ONE THIRD of the deposit due to things such as "miscellaneous items being left in apartment: $30"- which by the way was the CAN OF PAINT that THEY provided to us when we moved in for touch ups!!!! Also, since we always travelled, we were never cooks and NEVER ONCE USED THE STOVE. But even though we actually turned on the self cleaner before we left we were docked $30 for a "dirty stove". We were also docked for "dirty refrigerator" ($30), "dirty washer and dryer" ($60)...NEED I GO ON''''' I tried to call but the manager never took my call. Needless to say I will NEVER recommend the Regatta to anyone- you're better off saving your money and going elsewhere. I've dealt with many leasing companies and can't believe what I have seen. These people are a**hole crooks.

I agree 100% - I am a current resident and I am having nothing but problems. My trailer (that I was told that I could park at regatta) got towed and they will not reimburse me and now I have to pay for storage. And our new neighbors have -5- cars and take up all the parking in front of our townhouse and the leasing office will do NOTHING about it. We are early terminating our lease at the end of July and they are trying to hit us with a 2 month penalty. They can hold their breath to see how long it will take them to get that. Let them take me to court. I don't care. -- Ash (Current Resident)

I agree - I just moved out (less than a month ago) and left that place in pristine condition (nicer than when we first moved in) and they deducted insane amounts of money for things that I cleaned like crazy!!!! Don't expect to get your deposit back...I think they make sure of it that you won't!!!!!
