If you have a big dog, this is the place to be!

I owned a large breed dog, and Westover Club was the only place around in this price range that would take my pal. The dog deposit was extremely reasonable, and her share of the rent per month (the amount above the normal rent charge)was about $35/month at the time I lived there.
The golden rule applies here: be friendly to the staff, and they will reward you with kindness. The office manager lives on the premises, and I believe this is very important when you are searching for a home. It means they have a vested interest in keeping the community nice.
The apartments are only slightly dated. I never heard my neighbors, either below or next door. The "dog" buildings are awesome because all of the four-legged friends can play outside together. It creates a lovely social atmosphere that is unusual for the apartment complexes I've seen today. Maintenance was very punctual when there was a problem, I never had to call twice to resolve a problem. My only real complaint was that the laundry rooms were outside, and if that's the worst thing, well I guess it's not so bad.
If you don't have a dog, I'm sure there are many complexes in the area that are just as nice. But my dog and I were very happy to call Westover Club home.
