We have been here for a little over a year, rent has substantially gone up since. Our bathroom tubs wall has been buckling for the last year, we told maintenance in August of 2005 and it is now March of 2006. Still nothing done about that. Also our dishwasher backs up every time we run it, water is ALWAYS pouring out of it onto the kitchen floor, which in turn makes the tiles buckle up. There have been bugs crawling on the walls, the ceiling has settlement cracks, and people complain if you are too noisy in the morning.
As for the laundry room, when you do your laundry ignorant people take our your clothes from the dryers and throw them on the table or they leave their washed clothes sitting in the washer for hours before coming back to pick it up. The pool, forget about that. There are always loud obnoxious people there with there whining children.
Also, if you have a problem and maintenance needs to get into your apartment, forget about them calling you to tell you they are going into your home, they just do it. With out any notice.
All in all, I would not recommend this place. Be fore warned!!

I completely disagree. Westover Village has the best maintenance staff and are always helpful. Have you called to complain? They are ususally there the same day if there are any problems and they always ask me if it's ok for them to enter if I am not home. I love it here and don't have any complaints.

definately not true..i have been here for almost a year, and i have never had ANY of these problems...you sure you are in this complex?

I lived at west over village for 15 months while waiting for my home to be built..When I moved to my new home, Westover refused my security deposite, and charged me much padded cleaning expenses..I refused to pay the bill, as I don't have any idea how they came up with the numbers, and it to this day is still reported as the ONLY black mark on my credit in 39 years...
The office staff at the time was okay, and that is being nice..When I let them know my house was built and I would be moving in 60 days, it all changed.(they work on some type of commission.)
I never had any problems with my unit, as I kept it very nice compared to alot of others there..I think the dishwasher was out dated, but I rarely used it anyway.
I will tell you that the quality of people living there has gone down hill, as I would not suggest it to a young couple trying to raise a nice family..
The pool...I agree with the other posters..On a sale of 1-10, I would give it a 5..
Face it, the Frank wants to make a buck any way he can. If he hires people for $8/hour to run his complex, above is what you should expect.
When you move out, I would suggest you get in writing from them that you are leaving and on what day. I would take pictures of the apartment when you leave and have a manager sign them, and I hate to say this, but don't pay your last months rent, because they ARE NOT giving back your deposite..
