Apartments are new, but very pricey and you don't get your money's worth in service, safety or convenience. The main problem is management's attitude towards tenants. For about $1500-$2100 per month, here's what you get: 1) No security 2) You have to DRIVE your trash to the far end of the complex 3) Poor management 4) responsive maintenance during office hours, but no emergency maintenance. The staff in the management office is rude, almost hostile towards tenants, and incompetent. They have no idea what they are doing or how to treat tenants. They don't seem to care at all about tenants needs. Their only concern is making money. Changes/new procedures that are implemented are tenant-hostile. You wonder how they expect to keep tenants. In preparation for a recent paving project, tenants were threatened with having their cars towed at the tenant's expense if they parked in the wrong area on the wrong day. It turns out that no paving was done during the entire 4 day period to which the threats applied. Recently all dumpsters were removed from various sites around the property. Tenants now have to drive their trash to the trash compactor at the far end of the complex. This saves money for management, but is unsafe and inconvenient for tenants. Tenants are expected to open the door to the compactor and place their trash inside. The compactor door is difficult to open and has a large sign from the manufacturer that reads "Danger, Keep Out". Obviously, this is an unsafe practice, but management doesn't care about tenant safey - just saving money. Now they don't have to pay for trash collection from all of the dumpsters that were around the property. Oh, by the way, if you care about recycling, there are no recycling bins. How hard is it to get recycling bins'''' There is no security. Although the apartment complex has been open for one year, management refuses to do anything about security. Four apartments were broken into recently. One building has central access (everyone enters through central doors) and one of the front doors is always open. Management simply refuses to put a lock on this door (although the doors that lead to their offices are locked after hours). So anyone can enter the building at anytime. When tenants ask when they are going to put a lock on this door they are given the sarcastic response: "we're working on it". Bottom line: go elsewhere....where management appreciates having you as a tenant and understands that YOU are the customer!
