The apartments themselves aren't bad, but they are way overpriced for what you get. The stoves and air conditioners are very old. The AC and the oven vent are both extremely noisy. The AC also was very weak; the bedrooms got virtually no air. When maintenance was called for these problems, I was told that nothing could be done.

Expect a rent increase every year. The lease is overly restrictive and blatantly illegal in some points. The staff is overly involved in your life. If you liked living in a overpriced college dorm with a RA, then the Oakmont landing is the place for you.
