I have lived in this apartment complex since my divorce a few years ago. My kids are in the Springfield Township schools which have been great. There are very few affordable places to live in this district. There are many other divorced parents with kids that live here for the same reason. There is also a fairly large Korean population. Like any neighborhood, most of the neighbors are decent people, but there are a few bad apples. Management finally got rid of the problem tenant (unsupervised teenager) that was generating the police visits noted in another review. Earlier reviews from 2003 that criticized the super are out of date. The current jobholder is friendly and professional.

The good things about living here: it's in the Springfield Township school district; it's relatively affordable; there are grassy areas where the kids can play; maintenance staff are congenial and will fix things quickly, especially if you put it in writing; Stephano Brothers (a very unfriendly organization) no longer manages the place; heat is included in rent; cats are now allowed. The bad: owners do not like to spend money on the buildings and are more likely to throw on a fresh coat of paint instead of actually initiating significant improvements; lease is rather rigid; owners are more concerned with pulling in new tenants than keeping current ones happy.

Overall: It suits my needs at this time. I would so rather own a house, but can't afford it yet. Until then, my kids are in a good school and have a safe place to live. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
