Please do not move here. I have no idea what the place was like as Colonial Towers but can speak volumes about the horrid wreck known as Paoli Place. If you want to live here, you have to be willing to accept several things. One as everyone said the maintance comes and goes as they pleases, even when you do not call them. When they were painting the hallway, we all had to leave our pets locked in a bedroom and our doors opne. I do not get it. Why did they need to come into our aparts to paint the hallway' They did not paint one thing inside the apartment, not the back of my door, the wood around the door, etc so why did my door have to be open for three days' I have asked several times to be called before maintence comes, yet they never do. One time the maintence guy said he would be there on Tues and came on Fri at 8:30 while I was getting ready for work. Another time they came and did not even leave a note so I had no clue what they did but knew they were in my place. Bugs are def an issue in my apartment house. They say they have an extermintor but its a lie-they love to lie here. Its just thier maintence guy with raid. The bugs are def the biggest issue. I hear some of the apartments get bats. I know you are laughing but serioulsy the maintence guy told me basically i should be happy with the bug infestation in my place cause at least its not bats like some people have. I have waited days and days for someone to come out to do things like fix my hot water, fix the leak drenching my kitchen, and sometimes do not hear from them at all to fix my rotten wood and exterminate, yet the show up and are in my apartment for days on end to paint the hall. Its crazy. And if my the second you will be getting a letter saying you are late on rent. They expect more out of thier tenants then themselves. Trust me there are plenty of apartments out there-thier are so many on the Main line in places like Ardmore and if not it is worth it to step it up to a little better complex in Wayne, Devon, etc. You do not want to wake up to bugs everywhere in your place. It was certainly not worth it for me.

I live in the Arms too-the doors were also painted in addition to the halls.

Well they did not pain the INSIDE of my door ...maybe they did yours. But not mine, so why did my door have to be unlocked for a week??? They did paint the outside of the door, which means they do not need access to my apartment. The people running this place are just rude and some of the biggest morons I have ever met.
