Well the title of this posting really sums up the experience at 1010 N. Hancock. We moved in about a year ago and are in serious need of getting out of this dump. In the beginning things seemed ok; great space, decent rent, fun neighborhood, dog friendly, and parking. But underneath the surface this place is a truly just a cesspool. Ignorant tenants acting like children, shady management, and corridors and elevators smelling of dog pee.
Quite frankly all other aside, the biggest problem here is the noise level. Tower has done nothing to make this building a little bit more tolerable in regards to it. We all know that living in an apartment community requires some adjustment to noise, but if you are considering living in Tower Investments 1010 N. Hancock Building just be ready to have a constant stream on unbearable concert level noise coming into your apartment, especially if you are unfortunate enough to have a rude and ignorant neighbor, as we do (#208).
The best part of it is that when you do complain to tower about a particular issue, such as noise level, they barely do anything. Their response to complaints is to put in a few calls to the person in question, agree with you that the tenant in question is loud and has gotten numerous complaints about their loudness, and then tell you their is nothing they can do and to call the police.
Basically this posting is just fair warning to all of you that would ever consider this place to live in. To sum it up, Tower management is unprofessional, its ridiculously loud, and sometimes can smell.
If you would like to live in amphitheater then this place is for you....
