Live elsewhere

Take some time and look around before committing to living here. The management is poor, and they are completely unresponsive to the tenants. The elevators were scheduled to have been fixed in April, which was then pushed back to May, and then to June. It is not mid-June, and the elevators are still not functioning properly or efficiently, including the renovated ones!
When I made a comment to the building manager about this, and stated that my previuos apartment building was less expensive and had working elevators, his response was to bash the maintainence staff in my former building, with which I never had any problems (though here my garbage disposal broke 8 times before maintanence thought to fix it).
I requested upgrades in my apartment, as several other apartments had been given such upgrades. I was told that only tenants who had been here for over 4 years were eligible to receive such upgrades, despite knowledge that other tenants who had been living in the building for a shorter time than I had had received the upgrades.
Not worth the money or the frustration. I'd advise looking elsewhere before you settle here.
