Another false alarm, resulting in building evacuation

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
The shoddy elevators are still not fixed, and this resulted in a mid-day building evacuation a few days ago. It's just another example of the fact that building management does not care one bit.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the garbage disposal is once again on the fritz, and garbage bags are piling up in the hallways on each floor. Wouldn't be so bad if the air conditioning worked in the hallways and elevators (garbage bags and 90 degree heat don't mix very well on the street, let alone in a "luxury" apartment building).
Can't wait until my lease is up.
