Great location, nice apartment

After three months here, I would recommend this building. Whatever issues were particularly problematic in the past (fire alarms/hot water problems-- noted below in other reviews), we have not experienced any of those issues. In fact, the construction between apartments is so solid, that a party going on next door or music or tv, NEVER permeates through the walls.
I find the building staff to be fairly helpful. The management company is off-site, and I have not had problems, so I have not had to deal with them other than signing the lease. They seem to be a little strict, but I get the impression this is to limit the number of undergraduate student tenants-- which was a draw for us.
The electricity bill runs about 80 dollars a month.
There are not a lot of amenities here like other buildings. But, for me, I am glad that the building does not pretend to maintain a gym. (Most of the other buildings we looked at had pretty bad gyms that they could not keep clean and working.) They do have some agreement for gym membership at a real gym nearby. But, I go to a number of yoga studios in the vicinity, and my partner goes to a climbing gym further downtown.
The Korean fruit and vegetable market across the street is a major plus, and saves us money.
Also, being on a higher level floor comes with some spectacular views, which I am glad to have this opportunity to have for a while. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
