Sure, the management company is ok. If you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for a broken window, or 4 days for a broken toilet (who needs a toilet in the home anyway'). Or if you enjoy having to go to their office whenever you need to speak with them, because the only answer you ever get on the phone is 'No.' Or if you want a "quasi-doorman," as the doorman has been oft referred to. Or if you like having a drugged-out bum live on the 6th floor for 2 days and a broken lock on the front door (it's been broken for 2 years now). Or if you don't really need a working elevator (wait, you can't take the stairs up either'!)
Philly Management is the bane of my existence and the least professional company/organization/scam artist I've ever done business with.
