Met expectations! - First off, you live in center city so yeah, you are going to hear street noise (cab drivers honking their horns, people yelling, etc.)!! The building is what it is and management has been great for me! All my work orders are addressed, for the most part they are done the same day and management has always been helpful. There are clubs and bars that play music but I live on the ...Full review of Walnut Square Apartments

Crazy Desk Clerks, Crazy Residents, Cockroaches and Mice - The second floor is the worst. There are cockroaches everywhere and the kitchens are filled with mice. Tenants let their little kids run and scream in the hallways. The place is a madhouse. The Night Desk Clerk is a mad Hispanic who thinks he is Robo Cop. Talk about Overly Macho, talk about Neo-Nazis. I visited a friend in Apartment 215 and there were cockroaches everywhere, on the ...Full review of Philadelphia Regency

Lived up to Gaurantee - After reading the previous review I had to say something. On a suggestion from a good friend who lived there for some time now I moved in but found out I had to move back home to take care of my ailing father. They advertise a 30 day guarantee and did not ask any questions or charge me ANY money to move out. They were very sincere and did all they could to help me out in this tough time. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK - This place is horrible; lived there for two years. First year was ok; lived on the top level in a very quiet building. Year two was the worst; moved to the bottom floor of another building so I could work out with friends. Beginning with month one (new building) there were problems. The intercom in both buildings did not function properly. People constantly put things in the doors, so they ...Full review of Emerson Apartments

From Someone Who Knows... - I was in residential real estate sales and leasing for the last 6 years in Philadelphia...I moved into the Touraine and stayed 2.5 years. I have seen and heard about every rental and condo building in Center City, and I can say with confidence that you won't find a better, more secure and thoughtful place to live than the Touraine. The staff are responsible and kind, the ...Full review of Touraine

You Can Do MUCH Better - I did not even stay the full year of my lease due to continuing problems. I was promised my security deposit back because of the problems causing me to move, but I know I'll never see it. When I called the staff about it they denied it and told me I might have to pay for breaking my lease... which was completely untrue and not how we agreed I'd leave. Two letters (and follow-up phone ...Full review of Sprucemont Apartments

MOVING ON - I HAVE BEEN LIVING AT REGENCY FOR OVER 3 YEARS. I FIRST MOVED IN BECAUSE A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE HAD ONCE LIVED THERE AND RECOMMENDED IT, ESPECIALLY SINCE ALL UTITLIES (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF AC, EVEN IF THEY SAY IT IS INCLUDED) ARE INCLUDED IN THE RENT. IT WAS OK TO START WITH BUT I CAN'T SAY I WILL MISS IT ONCE I LEAVE. I AM PREGNANT AND LOOKING FOR A NEW PLACE TO MOVE TO IN THE BY ...Full review of Regency House Apartments

So Far So Good - Ive been here since February, and I am very satisfied with our choice. In the building I live in, the hallways are clean, the laundry room is clean (it's usually empty too, due to the times I choose to do laundry) and not really noisy (there is a group of college kids living above me, but have not had real issues with them). Havent had to use maintainence except for a ...Full review of Abbey House

So far very happy - We are fairly new tenants here and so far we have been very impressed. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. The neighbors are quiet and the ones we have met are very nice. Our apartment was in wonderful condition when we moved in and the one minor repair was fixed the same day. The grounds are well kept, as are the buildings. There is ample parking and the community is well lit. ...Full review of Chestnut Hill Apartments
