Has its flaws but top location - We read the reviews before moving in and were pretty worried, and didn't think we would stay more than a year. It turns out to be not that bad. Yes, it's an old building, somewhat decrepit, although maintenance keep it shipshape as much as they can. Pest-wise, within the last 6 months, I have seen one tiny mouse and a few cockroaches, not pleasant but nothing ...Full review of Nash Apartments

Pelham Park Apartments

Such A Shame - When we first moved to Pelham park it seemed perfect, but the emphasis is on SEEMED. As soon as we moved in, we realized that our neighbors on every side of us could hear everything we said and did. The walls are so thin you can hear details of every goings on in the apartments around you, and they can hear you. A voyeur's dream, but a regular person's nightmare. ...Full review of Pelham Park Apartments

happy here - We have lived here thru the last 2 years, that's 2008 and 2009 and we just signed to stay 2010. The management in the office has changed and I think that is why things are improving. But even before we had very few complaints. Our kitchen was upgraded just before we moved in and the size of the rooms is much larger than we had been used to in other apartments. The closets are huge. Plus ...Full review of Greene Countrie Court

Decent apartments but some false advertising and management sucks... - Overall, this place is ok if you have the tolerance of Gandhi and can deal with the management...or manage to avoid dealing with them at all. Management and maintenance are EXTREMELY slow to fix problems and return calls even if you are very persistent. This is especially troubling, as some of the issues I have called about pose potential safety hazards and even led to some of my ...Full review of Greene Manor

Drunks, false fire alarms, theft, ineffeciencies, outdated, etc... - 1. there are lots of obnoxious drunk Philadelphia University students up to all hours of the night roaming the ground levels. 2. students are inconsiderate when using the hallways and have no regard for the tenants on the other side of the wall of the hallway they're walking down. 3. the building-wide fire alarm goes off on an average of at least one time per month. 4. the a/c and heat ...Full review of Alden Park

Still hear but can not wait to leave. - Cheswick Square apartments has a lot of external and internal problems. If you like being sick most of the time, then this is the place for you. not bad- copley - its a nice place. you get what you pay for. a very good neighborhood. pet friendly. very nice maintenance staff and very fast acting. property manager is friendly and helpful. the only thing to keep in mind is that they are in the process of remodeling, obvious disturbances of remodeling to be expected but so far well worth it. the only downside is the laundry room. its scary and dungeon like ...Full review of Octavia Hill Association
