the best value in center city From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/27/2004 Years at this apartment: 1997 - 2000   I lived in this building for three years, and hated to leave it, but I was working in the suburbs and didn't want to pay the wage tax anymore. This is BY FAR the safest building in Center City. The doormen are wonderful people who look out for their residents, will water your plants if you go away, and are always there to help. The management is wonderful...maintennance is terrific and helpful. The parking was unbeatable, and they even have a 24 hour garage attendant. I always felt safe alone in the garage, no matter what time. I lived here as a single woman, and I would have to emphasize to anyone looking to move here that this is DEFINITELY the safest building at the most affordable price. It is accessible to everything in Center City within a short walking distance. The only drawback is that it is a couple of blocks from the grocery store, but they will deliver if you ask them to. If you can get an apartment in this building, take it. It may not be the most architecturally interesting, but it is SAFE, rodent and bug free, maintennance is great, and is affordable if you have a car. You will not find any other buildings that offer this value.
