I moved in here sept 05, just before I was married. I was apprehensive at first. It looked like such a plain building. You can tell it was renovated in the 70s. However, I had lived in other apartments in the area and 2400 surpassed them by far. The staff was great, the management was great. The other residents are very friendly too. I never had a problem receiving packages, which was a real issue in the last place I lived. It was incredibly clean. In the year and a half we lived there, I never saw one bug. The convenience of the highways, train station, and proximity to Penn and Drexel were added bonuses. Parking in the garage was easy and safe and very well priced for being in the city. One thing that should be considered is that you are in the city and yes you are going to hear some noise. When it s nice out, it could make it hard for you to sleep with the windows open, but that s not specific to this place. It s going to happen everywhere in the area. The only reason we left this place is because we bought a house. We didn't have any problems at the end our lease either. They allowed us to go month to month with no added charges, just 60days notice as to when we were moving out. At the end, I handed in the keys and we got our security deposit back in under 7 days. I really cannot say enough good about this place. If I were ever to move back in the city, this is the first place I'd come. One more thing, the only bill you have to pay in this place is electric. Some reviewers complain about the electric bill being high, but it s the only one you pay. It really wasn t even that bad. There s free water, cable, and even free laundry. It s a great place to be.
