Univ City - Decent Apt, Painful Service - I recently moved out of a 2br/1ba apartment located in University City at 36th and Lancaster after 3 years. The location is great and the apartment is fairly modern compared to a lot of what can be found in the neighborhood. Not stylish, but spacious and did the job though not without defects. If there are problems, be prepared to invest some time. Negatives: - presently past-due with ...Full review of Ark Properties

Very Poor Apartment - I am a current resident in The Left Bank and have been dealing with serious issues on a daily basis. Since moving into the apartment in April I have been having to deal with a serious leak in my bedroom. Each time it rains, the corner of my bedroom gets wet and the entire apartment is filled with a mildew smell. Maintenance's attempts to fix the problem were woefully inadequate. It is ...Full review of Left Bank on Walnut Street

Do yourself a favor and stay away from these apartments - I have lived at the Wayne Manor for almost two years now, and I cannot wait until my lease is up. If you are considering moving here, there are a few things you are going to want to consider first. 1) The building and everything in it is old and very poorly maintained. My bathroom ceiling has collapsed twice, both my sinks have broke, my shower has broken several times, ...Full review of Wayne Manor

Great place to live! - We have been living at Fairmount Terrace now since October of '07 and are very happy with the apartment, management, and maintenance staff. Several changes have taken place with the new GPX reality company, including landscaping, painting, carpeting, and renovations in several units. Our particular unit was upgraded with new windows in the winter - the excellent ...Full review of Fairmount Terrace Apartments

Crafts House: Nice apartment...minus the mice. - We moved into a 1 BR apartment in the summer of 2008 in Crafts House (a courtyard level apartment). Overall, this was a decent apartment. New appliances, large bath tub, high ceilings. We had a bi-level apartment, with our bedroom on the bottom floor. The bi-level format helped dampen sound, so we never really had problems sleeping. There were some cons, though: 1) ...Full review of Brandywine Construction Mgmt

Poorly maintained - The building is poorly maintained and occasionally smelly. The corridors are dirty. The painting job was never good to begin with and it also chips. They do not fix damage, they just paint over it. In 10 months we had mice twice in our apartment despite our keeping the apartment very clean. The best thing about this building is the people who work at the front desk. They are very friendly ...Full review of Embassy Apartment

DO NOT LIVE HERE - NOT SAFE - I have lived here for over a year. The first year was great, but recently the safety has been a concern. Cars are constantly being broken into. Suspicious cars hang out in the lot watching activity at night. Call the office and the manager pretty much laughs at you. Unless you call multiple times, maintenance does not come to fix problems. ...Full review of Manayunk Garden Apartments

8am Construction Every Week Day... - I live on the 18th street side of the building and the Montgomery Community College construction is a major noise problem. It consistently starts every day at 8am, sometimes early. I don't know if there are any noise violations that Museum Towers can claim to the GC, but for those prospective residents - know which side of the bldg you're moving into first! ...Full review of Museum Towers

MOVE HERE IF YOU WANT TO GET SHOT - Berkshires of East Falls in Philadelphia, PA is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Expensive with no ammenities. Gunshots fired directly outside our bedroom window and a victin was shot. Had to leave before the lease was up in fear for our lives. When we explained this incident to the staff they showed no sympathy and told us it was not a big deal. HORRIBLE. Do not live ...Full review of Berkshires of East Falls

Not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. - I've lived her for three years with my wife in the Canterbury building and even though we are divorcing and moving apart, I still plan to stay within the community. The only problem I have had my whole time here was at when point when I had two cars and was in the process of selling one. I came home one day and saw a big orange tow sticker on the window of one of my cars. When I went in ...Full review of Gateway Towers
