I currently live in Adams Run and while its no Trump Towers, its not that bad. Its unfortunate that some people have had some bad experiences, but I know plently of current tenants who are fine. I have never heard gun shots. I havent had any issues with maintenance (except for them fixing any problems I have had the same day I call about it--which is good). I dont feel unsafe here at all. But of course, Im not oblivious to the fact that something can happen anywhere. The other reviews just make it sound like you'll be living in the heart of Compton or in the projects!! Of course, there have been little things here and there but nothing to flee the property about. The only thing I can say I dont like is the gate on the side of the property I live. You need a card to get in and out and that can become a little annoying...but sometimes the gate is left open...and thats cool. Bottom line is this: Adams Run is resonably priced and it's a decent place to live esp compared to alot of the other apartments in the city of Philadelphia in the same price range. Now, I wouldnt want to live here for 5 or 10 years or anything but thats because no one should really want to rent for that long.
Everyone's experience is different everywhere. And you can run into alot of issues at any apt complex...whether you're paying $600 or $1200.
