Wow.. I honestly regret not listening to the 18% Rating on these apartments... The management taking almost a month to get back to me about moving into these apartments should have been a fair indication of what I was going to have to deal with. We moved into the apartment, it was alright for the first night. The second night our car got broken into and around $300 worth of belongings were taken (CD Player, CDs, etc.) My boyfriend had spoken to the manager of the complex who had then informed us that 6 breakins had occured within the last MONTH and told us everything would be alright, because they hired "a lot" of new security guards. FOUR days after moving into our apartment, someone broke into my apartment and stole my credit cards and money. We had again informed the office who was "reluctant to hear they were not responsible" [meaning the office management] and sent us on our way. How caring and comforting this staff is. I had tried contacting the manager about all of my issues in the beginning of August, but still have not heard anything back from him. We had to fill out a satisfactory list of all the "issues" we found in the apartment. These issues included the handle on the toilet sticking, the shower/tub was not draining, the oven doesn't close right, the fridge flooded out my kitchen daily, and the window in the bedroom seemed to be broken out of the frame. It took maintnence over a month to fix the issues we had reported when we first moved into the apartment after they said (Aug.4th, 2006 "They will be taken care of the next day) Issues finally checked out September 15th.. I was shocked... Yesterday I had went to do laundry in the laundry room and when I went to re-enter my apartment, the door handle broke. It took two maintenece guys almost an hour to realize the thing was broken and finally fix it... So now we have lived here about four months. Our car has been broken into two more times on their "newly secure" lots and I believe we finally got the cockroach infestation taken care of.. These apartments are a total rip off.. The only nice thing about this place is the pool. And that is now closed for season. I can't wait to see what the following months bring and how much I am going to get charged for the gas heating that I will hardly ever be home to use. I am seriously sick of this apartment complex. The staff is terrible, the apartments are nothing special, and the bugs are a serious issue. I have decided to share an online photo page and journal for others who are even debating on moving here. I seriously do NOT recommend this complex to anyone. It is a rip off. If I had the $2000 I needed to break my lease, I would do it in a heart beat. The page I am currently working on with photos is: http://www.geocities.com/adamsrunphila I will do anything to save people the headaches that I have had to deal with.... Choose a different apartment.
