Never had a problem in Adams. Maintanance is kind of slow but if you called them 2 or 3 times, they show up. They usually get it right the first time. As far as neighbors, car, safety... Never had a problem with neighbors. It depends where you park your car, some parking areas are kind of shady, but never had my car or apt. broken into. The neighborhood is not Disneyland but its not that bad either. "Lots of bark, no bite" especially in the winter. Thugs don't hangs outside when its 10 below zero. The pool is pretty nice. Staff is nice also. It is kind of expensive because you pay gas and electricity apart. Everything is close by....Post office, Shoprite, A mini mall, Dunkin Doughnuts, Pharmacy..... I wouldn't live there or raise a family there forever, but if your starting out, its not bad. Its actually the best place there is around as far as landscaping, pool, apt layout....... (Have you seen the other apts. in the northeast') Montgomery county starts 1/4 a mile away and there a golf course nearby, so its not as ghetto as other places. (Still kinda ghetto though) Better than the rest of Philly. The K and 57 buses are really close. The 57 takes you to Orange line (Fern Rock), the K takes you to Margaret and Orthodox Train Station (Blue Line). I prefer the orange line. Margaret and Orthodox looks like something straight out a crime area in Batman. (Ghetto as hell)
I know what it is to wait for the bus at 10pm, and nothing never happened to me. Never got robbed or jumped. Its pretty safe.
