As I have realized, people do not feel like they need to write reviews unless they are unsatisfied with the product. I came across this page and I feel like I should add some comments as to why I love living at Alden Park.

1) It is safe, you can sleep worry free. Your car is safe and your apartment is not going to be broken into while you are asleep.
2) Beautiful surroundings. The grounds are well taken care of and it is short walk from fairmont park.
3) Friendly security. If they don't recognize you they kindly ask if they can help you. Once you are known they are always there to help.
4) Quick maintenance. I locked myself out of my room at 11pm and they came by to let me in within 15 minutes. Someone is always on call and they come fast since they also live in the complex.
5) Management is honest. Sure, construction is noisy during the day when most people are at work. But management told me that when I moved in.
6) Reasonable price. For an apartment that has a washer/dryer, working fireplace, and a beautiful view of fairmont park for less than 1000! that is hard to find, and well worth it. Sure it is a historic building, which means thin windows leading to higher utility bills. But again, management tells you this before you move in.

All in all, I have only been here for 4 months but I love Alden Park. It is located in a great location and I know that I will be living here for many more years.

Sure. Water is included. Gas is above $18.00, cable (TimeWarner, soon to be Comcast) $85.00, electricity @ $100.00). I cannot say enough positive things about the place. I am only moving because I bought a house. My apartment (huge one bedroom) was so gorgeous, I loved coming home every night! It is safe. I lived in the Manor Buidling, which I highly recommend.

I would love to hear from someone regarding the mice and PU rentals at Alden Park. I am reading that PU is now being rented space at Alden to use for the university students. Which building are they occupying, Cambridge or Manor? And is there really a big mice problem. My company is trying to place me in this apartment complex for the next 7 months and I am wondering if I will be happy. So please be honest, not irrate. Thanks,

Last year people climbed over the fence and invaded an apartment with four girls living in it and beat up on one of their boyfriends. It is not unusual for the fence to be broken and management uses yellow police tape to seal it off and get the attention of everyone going by. It feels safe, and is safe for the most part, but things have happened.
