I am on a short-term lease for a corporate apartment and my first impression of the facility was very good. One of the reasons I chose this property was the availablilty of a gym and a clubroom with a boardroom and reception area. In light of my lengthy schedules and frequent meetings, I thought this was the perfect place to be. I even mentioned to the young lady who showed me the property that I like to work out at night. However when I attempted to enter the clubroom for the gym, I was greeted by a locked door. Upon inquiry, I was told that it is only open during the business hours of the Korman staff, which just happens to coincide with my business hours. Therefore, even though I chose this property for such amenities, I have been unable to use them. This has proven to be a great disappointment and I certainly would not recommend this property to anyone who may be tempted to choose this place based upon the promises made by the management of Korman Suites. In addition to the aforementioned issue, the problem of prompt responses to maintenance and other requests are often either ignored or requires several telephone calls before any action is taken. For example, I requested attention to my cable modem ( which is provided by Korman) when I was in the desperate situation of not having access to the internet which I depend upon for my work. I explained the urgency of the situation to a Korman employee in the leasing office who promised that she would have the problem rectified that very day. However, it took another phonecall from me 3 days later before the cable company was even contacted. I am by no means launching a smear campaign against Korman Suites. I am simply stating my experience since I do wish someone had written a review for me to see before I chose this property. This is a very comfortable apartment with all the basic provisions. If customer service means nothing to you, this may be the perfect place for anyone who has a short term work order or is a student in the Philadelphia area.
